Description

Upper elementary students will take their robotics skills to the next level in this hands-on, engaging program. Using LEGO® SPIKE Prime kits, students will work together to design, build, and code robots that complete a variety of fun and challenging missions. Along the way, they’ll strengthen important skills like problem-solving, teamwork, creativity, and critical thinking. Students will also explore real-world issues through a simple research and innovation project, helping them connect what they build to the world around them.

Program Goals and Objectives:

iGen is dedicated to bridging the ethnic and gender gaps in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) by providing students with hands-on opportunities in computer science and STEAM learning. Our goal is to spark curiosity, inspire confidence, and encourage students to discover new passions that can extend into lifelong learning and future careers.
